保守黨傲濤撐港 Erin O’Toole MP stand with Hong Kong

在野黨保守黨影子國防部長傲濤在一個私人活動中談及香港，「我們珍惜香港並許諾，我們一定會為香港人的獨特人權挺身而出。」

早於二戰時加拿大曾出兵保衞香港，兩地之間關係深厚。香港乃國際認可的金融中心，國際社會需挺身保障香港現有的法治，免受北京政府進一步打壓及蠶蝕。尤其自銅鑼灣書店事件後，香港的法治社會危在旦夕，他義不容辭地為香港人發聲。

Erin O’Toole MP, the Shadow Minister for Foreign Affairs of Canada talked about Hong Kong in a private event. “We treasure and are committed to Hong Kong. And we must stand up for those special rights for HongKongers.” he said. #standwithHK

He told the audiences that he visited Hong Kong with the Canadian Parliamentary committee and there is a close connection between Canada and Hong Kong since World War II. Canadians tried to defend Hong Kong during the war and he is standing up in defence of Hong Kong.
