侯沙哥詹貝贊促罰狗官 Senator Leo Housakos & James Bezan MP call for Magnisky sanction on entities related to National Security Law
保守黨參議員候沙哥(Leo Housakos)在推特上發文表示，要求杜魯多政府推「年青人才計劃」以協助香港人逃出生天，並對推行國安法、違反中港官員實施馬肯尼茨基式制裁。消息人士指，候沙哥近日去信杜魯多，相信和此事有關。此外，保守黨國會議員詹貝贊（James Bezan）亦在面書發文，指出加拿大應該實施馬肯尼茨基法案制裁林鄭。
Conservative Senator Leo Housakos tweeted and called the Trudeau government to consider Young Talents Program to save Hong Kongers, and impose Magnitsky sanctions on perpetrators of human rights abuses under the National Security Law that China imposed to Hong Kong. He sent letters to Justin Trudeau and it is believed that this related to those mentioned in this tweet, the source said.
Conservative MP James Bezan posted in Facebook that “Canada needs to stand with Hong Kong by condemning China’s National Security Law, providing lifelines to Hong Kongers in need and using Magnitsky sanctions against Carrie Lam for intentionally bypassing the Hong Kong government to impose this law.”
馬肯尼茨基法案(Magnitsky Act)主要制裁違反人權、自由之外國官員，在2012年美國奧巴馬任期內立法，並在2017年唐老侵任期內推廣至全球。此法案在各國各有不同名字，在加拿大的版本為《外國貪官受害人伸張正義法》（Justice for Victims of Corrupt Foreign Officials Act）。
Magnitsky Act sanctions the foreign government officials who violate human rights and freedom. It became U.S.’ law in 2012 under the term of office of Obama, and promoted to global in 2017 under the term of office of Trump. Different names are used among countries, and the one in Canada named “Justice for Victims of Corrupt Foreign Officials Act”.
香港監察六月底以來公佈的救生艇計劃，在加拿大方面包括年青人才計劃，以協助無BNO之年輕人。去年十一月尾，香港監察於渥太華舉行「香港正處歷史轉捩點」（Hong Kong at a critical time)國會議員交流會，並獲60名國會議員參與。會中香港監察向國會議員提出利用馬肯尼茨基法案制裁違反人權的香港官員及警察，受到在場國會議員贊同。

Hong Kong Watch organized a MPs social event called ” Hong Kong at a critical time” in 27th November 2019, and joined by 60 MPs. Hong Kong Watch propose imposing Magnitsky Act on the Hong Kong government officials and police who violate human right, which agreed by the MPs in the event.
